Crunchy Kale Chips

Light and crunchy "chips" that are super nutritious and guilt free!  A great alternative to those salty chip cravings!

 

Ingredients:

1 bunch of curly organic kale (green or purple)

1-2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Unrefined Sea salt

 

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 250 degrees. Remove the very tips of the kale stems. Rinse. Use a salad spinner or a clean kitchen towel to dry the leaves thoroughly (prevents soggy kale chips). Place the well dried kale leaves into a large bowl. Pour the olive oil in and massage into the leaves well. Take the leaves and place them together on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the leaves with some unrefined sea salt and place them into the oven. Bake at 250 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, or until the leaves turn crunchy. Your chips are ready when they have a crunchy bite and melt in your mouth. Enjoy!
