Luscious Blackberry Banana Smoothie

This luscious smoothie is rich in immune boosting vitamin C, loaded with free-radical fighting antioxidants, and is an excellent source of minerals such as potassium and magnesium.  It combines blackberries with a banana, but it’s equally delicious with any type of berry you have on hand.

Ingredients:

1 medium banana, peeled

1/2 cup blackberries

1/2 cup natural almond milk

1/2 cup ice cubes

 Tip: Add a scoop of your favourite protein powder to make this smoothie extra sustaining. 

 

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high for 15 seconds, or until it is smooth and creamy. Serve immediately. ENJOY!
